Terms of use and sale

Last updated 11 October 2026.

Who we are

Spotapump is run by Spartan Tech Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 13909125, registered office First Floor, 10 Hampden Square, Southgate, London N14 5JR. Contact: [email protected].

What Spotapump does

Spotapump shows fuel prices that forecourts report to the government's Fuel Finder service, and works out which forecourt may cost you least. We don't sell fuel. Prices can change or be reported wrongly, so always check the price at the pump before you fill up. Distances, routes, mpg figures and savings are estimates.

Spotapump Plus

Plus costs 99p a month or £9.99 a year. We're not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. It renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Your account, and Plus then stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.

Your right to cancel: Plus starts as soon as you pay. If you change your mind within 14 days of first subscribing, email us and we'll refund that first payment in full.

If we change the price, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.

Price alerts are part of Plus. We check for price cuts every hour and email you at most once every 6 hours per alert. Alerts depend on forecourts reporting their prices, so we can't promise to catch every change.

Price Watch (for businesses)

Price Watch is for forecourt owners and managers, buying for their business. It costs £19 a month or £190 a year per forecourt, with no VAT added (we're not VAT registered). New subscriptions start with 14 days free; we take card details at the start and charge the first payment when the free period ends, unless you cancel before then. It renews until you cancel, which you can do at any time from Price Watch; it then stays on until the end of the period you've paid for. Because Price Watch is sold to businesses, the 14-day consumer refund right above doesn't apply, but email us if something isn't right.

Price Watch shows prices as forecourts report them to the government's Fuel Finder. It's a guide to your local market, not advice on what to charge, and we aren't responsible for pricing decisions you make using it.

EV charging prices

Charging prices come from charge point operators' open data, published under the Public Charge Point Regulations 2023. We show the lowest price per kWh at each site, including VAT. The price you pay can depend on charging speed, time of day, membership and extra fees for parking, overstaying or connecting. Always check the operator's app or the charger before you plug in.

Supporting Spotapump

"Buy us a coffee" is a one-off, optional payment to Spartan Tech Solutions Ltd. It isn't a charity donation and doesn't unlock any features. If you pay by mistake, email us within 14 days and we'll refund it.

Partner offers

The "Save on your motoring" section contains partner links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission. Partner offers are provided by those companies, under their own terms, and never affect the fuel prices or rankings we show.

Fair use

Don't copy our data in bulk, use automated tools on the site, or try to get around limits or payments. We may limit or close accounts that do.

Our responsibility to you

We work hard to show accurate information but can't promise prices, opening hours or forecourt details are always right, because they come from forecourts through the government service. We aren't responsible for losses caused by wrong information from those sources, or for any loss we couldn't reasonably foresee. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your statutory rights.

Data and credits

Fuel prices and forecourt details contain public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0 (source: DESNZ Fuel Finder). How we handle your personal information is in our privacy notice.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your own country's courts.
